About the Industrial Mezzanine Floor – MATELEC, Ghorfin
Completed in 2008 for MATELEC in Ghorfin, an industrial mezzanine floor was engineered to double the usable working area within 200 m2 factory zone without expanding the building footprint.
Designed on HEA columns and beams with a bolted connection system, the structure was engineered to carry heavy steel inventory loads across both levels, delivering 400 m2 of operational floor in total.
A steel staircases provides access to the mezzanine floor completing a dual area for storage and operations.
