About the Multi-Bay Industrial Hangar Complex, MATELEC
Completed in 2008 for MATELEC in Ghorfin, a project involving engineering, supply, and installation of tew identical hangars by Daher Industrial to house MATELEC’s power transformer tank fabrication department.
Each hangar spans 12 m height across 2,700 m2 floor area and is equipped with four overhead cranes at a lifting capacity ranging from 6.3 to 20 Tons; a total of eight cranes over a 5,200 m2 production area.
The two structure designed as identical units connected from a simple unified complex. Crane rails and reinforced bases are integrated in the outset structure to ensure precise load transfer and long-time runway alignment under continuous heavy-lift cycles.
Steel portal frames and sandwich panel roofing complete the industrial envelope, a large-scale, high-capacity delivery, a simple grandeur of Daher Industrial’s turnkey capabilities across structural engineering, fabrication and installation at a large scale.
