About the Multi-Purpose Prefab Extension, Adonis, Jbeil
The Endowment of Our Lady of Providence in Adonis, Jbeil, required additional enclosed and functional space to serve the daily needs of the people working within the church grounds — including food preparation areas, sanitary facilities, and spaces for community and religious activities.
Daher Industrial designed and delivered a prefab extension exceeding 250 m², built directly on top of the existing concrete structure, eliminating the need for new foundations and significantly reducing both cost and construction time.
The entire structure was fully customized to the specific dimensional requirements and spatial layout of the endowment, ensuring that each functional zone — kitchen, toilets, and activity areas — was purpose-designed rather than adapted from a standard module.
The prefab solution also served a dual structural purpose: the new construction acts as a weatherproof seal over the concrete roof below, extending the life of the existing building while delivering entirely new usable space above it.
